Fred J. Crisp, Inc. has been providing quality hollow metal doors & frames since our founding in 1929. The original founders were George and John Crisp, followed by George’s sons Fred and Raymond in 1903 and 1917 respectively. It is our mission to fill the needs of Akron, Canton and all of Northeastern Ohio. We believe the best way to achieve this goal is to focus on continuing quality customer service.

Crisp, Inc. as Chief Operating officer for 15 years.                                    Dennis Holzer has served Fred J. Crisp, Inc. as Secretary/Treasurer for 20 years.

Facts                                                                                                                                        George and John Crisp originally started in business in 1873 in Akron, OH. Their company, Masonry Contracting, built kilns for Akron’s clay products industries.

Notable construction projects performed by the Crisp family’s construction business over the years were Union Depot, Henry School, most of the B.F. Goodrich plant, the General Tire plant, Akron City Building, South High School and King School.
